Ever see a really gorgeous site that takes your breath away? Ever wonder how their site is so... perfect? Well, I'll tell you what's behind that beautiful site. A webowner that worked hard to make their site that way. You can't expect to be a perfect webdesigner on your first try. It takes practice, and of course, tutorials ^-^.
Tutorial Sites: Day Dream Graphics
I will list some things every site should have and NOT have.
Stuff you should have:
+ A proper credits page giving credits to all your resources: images especially
+ A disclaimer page or area: to show that you absolutely refuse to claim your resources: images especially
+ Credits for your graphics, or site layout, etc. anything on your site that isn't yours.
Stuff you REALLY shouldn't have:
+ Direct linked images: this means you used a url linking to an image from another site. This eats up their bandwidth which they pay for.
+ Stolen codes: this means that you take someone else's hand-coded css coding or web coding, and only replace the image parts or the parts you need for your site. The hand-coded work that someone did is copyrighted to them. What is Copyright? should explain things to you.
This page will be constantly updated, so keep checking back. Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or things you think should be on this page.
