Korea... My Home

Once spelled with a "C,"
in the times of old.
Let's take a trip to the past,
and put everything else on hold.
Korea is nowt wo separate countries
with one in the north,
and one in teh south.
Koreans are known for their short tempers,
and sometimes,
their big mouths.
If you think about food,
you think, "Oh boy, kimchee!"
Korean sulture is more than that,
just open your eyes and see.
No matter what happened in the past,
I want to concetnrate on today.
This is my world, my home
A place where I can play.
Culture is a part of me
It's who I am, it's who I'll be
Don't be racist
but be brave and face it.
Admit it, Korea is pretty cool,
But that's because it's Korea,
My home.
This was written for our IDU presentations in eighth grade. I figured I might as well keep it seeing as how it's a poem and blah. For sentimental reasons.
