Drifting...
Drifting endlessly,
all... alone.
Alone in this world,
lost in this universe.
Belonging nowhere,
drifting...
Anywhere, that is
away from here.
Twinkling stars above and below,
floating...
Wondering what else there is to know.
Lost and alone,
in this vast universe.
Nowhere to go...
Lost...
Alone...

This poem wasn't written for school. I think it was written out of boredom after writing a poem for this English contest. It's not really dark either, like it's title suggests.
