Thunder rumbles in the distance
But I don't hear a sound
Rain starts to pour down around me
Silence all around
Why do I feel this way
As though it's not worth it anymore
I want you to stay away
Far away, far from me
I don't know what's wrong with me
I feel like I want to scream
Shut my ears, shut out the sound
Shut out the silence all around
Lost, without you
Wandering in the dark
I... I don't know what to do
I think I need you
Yes, yes I do
I know my heart still longs for you
Your touch, your love
Your heavenly voice
So I'll be waiting
There's still silence all around
But it speaks to me
Even though there's no sound
It's telling me to wait... and see
The silence is reassuring
Because it tells me you're still there
So I'll just sit and wait here

I wrote this because I didn't write anything in awhile. *grins sheepishly* But anyway, it doesn't relate to anyone or anything I guess...
