I'll Be There For You

I promise I'll be there for you,
Friendly, Trustworthy, and true.
If you're ever feeling blue,
Realize that I'll be there for you.
Don't try to hide it,
As though it's nothing new.
Just let me know,
I want to help you,
I want you to understand.
Just tell me,
And grab my hand
Don't give up hope,
Just remember...
That I'm here for you.
And I'll always be there...
For you.

I wrote this after my friend, Christy, said I was a dear friend to her and she wouldn't know what to do without me. I doubt that's completely true, but it was really touching and everything so I wrote this poem for her, to let her know that I'll always be there for her no matter what.
