The Sunset: One of His Creations (Revised)

Blue, purple, red, gold,
The colors of my soul.
Green, orange, pink, yellow,
Colors that make my soul feel mellow.
The sunset comes only once a day,
And yet,
I am not afraid.
For He,
The One,
Who is God Almighty,
Shall step forth to seize me from,
The darkness,
And bring me the light.
He will show me the sunset,
One of his creations.
The sunset,

And the Holy Spirit,
Represented within the sunset.
The sunset,

This is the revised version of "The Sunset." It is the first time I've tried this thanks to Pastor Gordon. I've always marveled at the beauty of the sunset, one of God's creations. I think everyone stops at the time of day just to watch the sunset, I know I do. And then, Pastor Gordon Marchant, my church pastor, gave me some advice on my poems. He realized that my poems were dark and full of negative emotion. I suppose that's true, because dark emotions are so easy to express, I've never tried good feelings before. And being the religious man that he is, he asked me to try to express God's relationship in my life in one of my poems such as how I did in my first poem, "Depression." It's hard because after writing all those dark poems, it was hard to write the good the God does in my life. I've tried, and here it is. I hope you like it.
